HEAD CHEF & OWNER
Chef Daniel An is a New Jersey/ Philadelphia native. He has worked his way up as a chef in some of Philadelphia's most notable restaurants. He was the Opening Executive Chef at Newtown's Ko, moved onto working at Michael Schulson's Sampan as well as Double Knot. He also sharpened his fish skills at Royal Sushi and Zama. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Southgate.
Chef An met his fiancé in Ambler which led to his decision to open his restaurant there. He is now an Ambler resident. You can catch him around town walking his two dogs, Henry and Louie. He is excited to share his unique approach to Korean food at Mokja and is knowledge of Asian cuisine all together.
